Patrol iron-person relay 2025
What an amazing afternoon at the 3rd Scarborough Wombarra Patrol Iron-Person Relay….
Proudly serving the local community since 1914, Scarborough Wombarra Surf Life Saving Club has over a century of history keeping our coastline safe.
Today, our clubhouse is not only home to our dedicated volunteer lifesavers, it’s also a beautiful beachfront venue offering a light-filled function space overlooking the beach.
Whether you’re planning a celebration, corporate event or community gathering, our coastal location and relaxed atmosphere, away from traffic and residential homes, is an ideal position to make Scarborough Wombarra the perfect setting for your next event.
The surf club hall’s beachfront position and floor plan offers sweeping views north to the Royal National Park and South to Wollongong lighthouse, providing a bright and inviting space for any occasion.
The hall is a blank canvas for any event: use your imagination and creativity to personalise your day.
We advocate health and well-being education, and businesses to take advantage of the hall and the flowing grassed space directly outside the entrance to hold your classes.
With the opportunity for an early opening, have your participants start the day watching the sunrise and take a dip in the crystal clear waters directly out front at the completion of your session.
This is the perfect place to begin your day and enjoy our beautiful beach.
We welcome low impact events such as children’s Birthdays, celebrations of life and milestone events.
The club and surrounding green space is a great change of pace for corporate training and team building, a fantastic venue to get away from the daily grind of the office and bring your team into a very special and relaxed environment and training day.
Best for: Birthdays, engagement parties, celebrations of life, community events, presentations and weddings.
The Swan Lounge features sweeping floor-to-ceiling views of Dee Why Beach, offering a bright and inviting space for any occasion. With flexible layout options, a private balcony and natural light throughout, this is our most popular room for social gatherings and relaxed coastal celebrations.
Features include:
Panoramic beach views
Flexible floor plan and seating options
Access to private balcony
Use of tables, chairs, projector and mobile PA unit
Bar service available (RSA-qualified staff)
Large commercial kitchen
Accessible for all guests (chair lift available)
This room provides a beautiful, effortless backdrop. Perfect for those wanting a relaxed, beachside atmosphere without the premium price tag.
